Mullen Elderly Housing - 1988

The "Mullen Elderly Housing" apart-
ments were planned and built in 1981-1982.
It is located in the northwest part of Mullen,
605 North Veteran Avenue. There are eight
one-bedroom apartments. They are owned by
James M. Christensen of Rapid City, South
Dakota. The housing is managed by Jo
Macke, Mullen, Nebraska.

The apartments are under United States
Housing and Urban Development rules and
regulation. In August of 1982 the first
apartments were rented. Natural Resource
District donated 180 trees to serve as wind-
break for Elderly Housing, in 1983.
