Peg's Beauty Shop, Peg Bostron, Owner

Peg Bostron, daughter of Bill and Betty
Macke, started her Beauty Shop Services in
1961, after her graduation from college. Her
first shop was located in the west wing of her
parents home in the south part of Mullen,
Nebraska. She was in this location for about
11 years.

Peg and husband Larry bought the build-
ing owned by Nellie Johnston and used as
Nellie's Variety Store Business. This pur-
chase was made in 1972 and provides space
for Peg's Shop and the family apartment.

Peg provides courteous, friendly and effi -
cient service for those who desire her service.
She has her shop open 5 days a week. She has
been known to shift appointments to suit the
needs of persons requiring an emergency
appointment. She often works later than the
usual work schedule or maybe miss a meal to
take care of the needs of a customer.
