HAUCK, CHARLES AND EVA VIOLA (REDDINGTON)

Eva Viola was born November 7, 1892 to
Ira and Isabelle Reddington. She grew to
womanhood in the Mullen area. She married
Charles Hauck.
The couple had four children, Mary Ann,
George Leonard, Ira Leslie (deceased at 15
months) and Myrtle Viola. Mary Ann Hauck
was born October 13, 1910, north of Mullen,
Nebraska. She was a Hooker county native
and long time resident of Mullen. She spent
most of her life working as a cafe waitress and
as a housekeeper at various ranches in the
area. She never married. Mary was a good
worker and always willing to help someone
when needed. She passed away October 6,
1982.
George Leonard was born November 18,
1912 at the family homestead north of
Mullen, Nebr. Leonard, as he was called,
worked at various ranches and did carpenter
work. He served in the Marine Corps in
World War II. When he retired from doing
ranch work Leonard started an Ornamental
Iron business in Mullen and many businesses
and homes are much better looking due to his
fine work. He is now retired and lives in
Mullen and enjoys getting out and walking
and visiting with his friends.
