Harold and Yvonne Moy

Harold Hubert Moy, born 1928 in
Waconia, Minnesota. Son of John E. Moy and
Clara (Schug) Moy. Harold's paternal grand-
parents were August Moy and Mary (Hessler)
Moy who homesteaded in Waconia, Minneso-
ta, both were killed in a tornado in 1904.
Maternal grandparents were John Schug and
Crescentia (Ohnsorg) Moy. Harold has three
brother's Stanley, deceased, Roger of Win-
sted, Minnesota, Leroy of Manhattan, Kan-
sas and one sister who died at birth.
Harold graduated from Waconia High
School in 1947. Served in the U.S. Army from
1954 to 1956. After being discharged he began
his O.J.T. training at Fasching's Body Shop
in Waconia, Minnesota. In 1959 he received
his journeyman's card as a body and fender
man.

In 1965 Harold moved to Greeley, Colorado
where he met his wife. Yvonne was born
1940 in Greeley, Colorado daughter
of Gerald D. Wallace and Gladys Ruth
(Allen) Wallace. Yvonne's paternal grand-

parents were John F. Wallace and Edna
(Kinzer) Wallace. Maternal grandparents
unknown. Yvonne has one sister Patricia of
Westminister, Colorado and one brother who
died at birth. Yvonne graduated from Gree-
ley High in 1958.

Yvonne and Harold were married in Colo-
rado in 1968. There are no children of this
marriage. Harold has two sons from a pre-
vious marriage, Brian Harold and Bradley
Alden. Yvonne has one son also from a
previous marriage, Arther Wayne Watts.
Between the two of them they have six
grandchildren.

In 1974 they moved to Mullen, where
Harold was employed at Schmoker's Chevro-
let and Milander Motor's. In 1976 Harold
hired John G. Wright and together they built
`Mullen Auto Body'. Work began on the
building in July and was completed in
August.

Harold and Yvonne joined the Episcopal
church in 1980. Together they are both active
members in the church and the Episcopal
Cursillo movement. Harold serves as Acolyte
Master and Senior Warden. Yvonne is Sun-
day School Superintendent, Altar Guild
Member, a member of the Executive Board
of the Episcopal Churchwomen for the
Dioceses of Nebraska as Director of the
Church Periodical Club.

Harold also is an active member of the
Mullen Commercial Club and Emergency
Medical Service as a volunteer driver.

In 1986 Yvonne became Avon representa-
tive for Hooker County.
