Donald grew up in Mullen, attending the

and fish and some of his old fishing buddies
were Buck Junod and E. G. Long. He also
went with his Dad as he "ditched" with his
dragline.

After graduating he worked construction
with Franke Construction, in Auto Repair
and in August of 1954 went to work at the
Bank of Mullen, working there 19 years and
becoming Vice President.

On December 21, 1957, Donald married
Marjorie Ann Reigle of Mullen in the United
Methodist Church. She was born
1938 in Cherry County and moved to Hooker
County at the age of 4. Her parents are Ray
E. & Myrtle I (Shefneer) Reigle of Mullen.

they moved to North Platte.

All of their children were born in Mullen
at the Pioneer Memorial Hospital.

These children are all graduates of the

Marjorie was a May 18, 1956 graduate of
Mullen Public School, attended Kearney
State College and after teaching for 2 years,
stayed home several years to raise the family
and in 1965 went to work at the Mullen Clinic

Donald and Marjorie became members of
the St. Josephs Episcopal church in 1958 and
eventually all of the children were baptized
and confirmed members of St. Josephs.
Donald is a member of the vestry and
Marjorie is a licensed layreader and helps
with Sunday School.

They have been active in community
affairs with Donald organizing the first EMT
training course and acquiring the first ambu-
lance during the years he was Fire Chief. He
implemented more training and equipment
for the fire department. He has been Presi-
dent of the Mullen Golf Course and is an avid
golfer. He is a member of the Mullen
Commercial Club and is involved with the
annual "Sharp Tail Grouse Hunt."

Marjorie has been active in the Mullen
Hospital Auxillary with the Hooker County
