PHILLIPS, LEONARD AND ALISA (BULLINGTON)

Leonard Arthur Phillips was born
1957 at Valentine, NE to Lynn and Joellen
Phillips. He attended Mullen Public Schools
and graduated with the class of 1975. The
spring of 1976 he helped Gordon Hansen
custom farm around the area. From that time
until 1983 he worked on his father's ranch
with his brother Lyle.

He attended night classes at Mid Plains
Voc Tec in the fall and spring of 1977-78. He
also took an ABS artificial insemination
course at North Platte and a veterinary mini-
course at Hayes Center, NE.

He married Alisa Bullington of Tryon on
June 2, 1979 at Tryon, NE. She is the
daughter of Veldon and Alma Bullington who
own land on the Dismal River in southern
Hooker County. Alisa was born in North
Platte, NE on 1961 and has four
sisters and three brothers. She attended
McPherson County High School and gradu-
ated in May 1979.

Leonard began leasing part of his father's
ranch in 1983. He started working at Vinton
Feed Store in February 1983 where he is
currently employed.

Leonard and Alisa have three children,
which were all born in North Platte. Melissa
Marie was born 1982 and began
kindergarten at the Mullen Grade School in
August 1987. Denise Leanne was born
1985 and Michael Allen joined the family
on 1987.
