REVERE, RALPH AND LOLA (SHEFFNER)

Ralph L. Revere was born October 14,
1913, the oldest of four children to Clarence
and Bertha Revere. He received his early
education in a rural school and graduated
from the Mullen High School with the class
of 1932. He spent his entire life on the ranch
and was married to Lola Mae Sheffner, who
resided with her family in South Cherry
County. They were married July 9, 1939 at
Hyannis, Nebr. They lived south of Mullen,
first on the Curtis place, then on the Allum
place, and then moved onto the home place
when his parents moved to town in October,
1954. Ralph and Lola were parents of three
children, Clarence, Martha and Barbara.
Clarence worked on ranches, and married
Bonnie Fiesterman of Oshkosh, on November
7, 1965. He has a daughter, Jessica born
1967. She attends college at Fremont.
Martha attended Omaha School of Com-
merce following graduation from High School
and had employment in Omaha, where she
met and married Bob McAllister. They were
parents of two girls, Allyson and Christine.
She was employed with Buckridge, of Fre-
mont, when she married Ross Jensen. Shortly
after this marriage, the family of four, along
with the pilot lost their lives when their plane
crashed near Havre, Montana.
Barbara graduated from High School, then
attended Chadron College. She is presently
employed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
where she is an adult counselor.
Ralph suffered a heart attack and died
unexpectedly at his home, June 8, 1965. Lola
purchased the Frank LeLaChuer property
after his death and moved to town. She was
employed at the Variety store for several
years, but was forced to quit work because of
ill health. She passed away in the Mullen
Hospital April 15, 1983. Clarence lives in
Mullen, & is employed with Nebr. Dept. of
Roads. Ralph, Lola, Ross, Allyson, & Chris-
tine are all buried in Cedarview Cemetery.
