Dwain Wall was born 1946 at
Arnold Nebr., son of Lawerence and Virginia
Wall. He attended school at Arnold, graduat-
ing in 1965. Dwain served 3 years in the Army
Signal Corp, stationed in Germany. After his
return from service he worked for the
"Dorothy Yount TV Service" in North
Platte. .

Nadine was born 1946 at Gothen-
burg, Nebr., the daughter of Charles and Ida
Worrell. Her mother lived only a few hours
after her birth. Charles and baby girl, Nadine,
made their home at Arnold with his parents,
John and Effie Worrell. At the end of a year
Charles remarried but it was an unhappy
marriage. When Nadine was 3 yrs. old she and
her Dad went back to Arnold to her grand-
parents home. The summer of 1950 Nadine
spent the time with her uncle and aunt,
Walter and Berniece Wadlow, at Mullen,
Nebr. Berniece and Charles were sister and
brother. At the end of the summer Charles
ask the Wadlows if they would like to give
Nadine a permanent home, because he could
not move her from place to place where he
was working. Walter and Berniece adopted
Nadine when she was 3 1/2 yrs. and she made
her home in Mullen, graduating from Mullen
High School in 1964. She attended Hastings
College, Hastings, Nebr. for 2 yrs., trans-
ferred to University of Nebr., Lincoln, Nebr.,
then to Lincoln School of Commerce, Lin-
coln.

Dwain and Nadine were married on Nov.
14, 1971, at Arnold. Their first home was in
McCook, Nebr. where Dwain was employed
at Montgomery Wards. They moved to North
Platte, Nebr. where Dwain was employed at
Montgomery Ward & Co. Later he trans-
ferred to the Trans Nutronic Corp. working
with TV Parts & Sales. In the spring of 1973
Dwain and Nadine became House Parents in
a Children's Home in North Platte. At this
time there were 4 children ranging in age
from 8 to 13 yrs. On Aug. 20, 1975 3 small
brothers were brought to the home - due to
the separation of the parents and neither had
any desire for the children. The boys were
ages 6, 4 and 1 yr. when they arrived at the
Home. Oct. 1975 the Will for the Children's
Home was broken and orders were given to
vacate, find other homes for the 7 children,
because the house would be sold. Dwain and
Nadine found a desirable home and reques-
ted the 3 brothers as "Foster Sons". After the
required time the boys were formally and
legally adopted and became known as the
"Wall Brothers".

The fall of 1977 found the Wall family
packing to move to Minatare, Nebr. because
Dwain had been transferred to the Trans
Nutronic Corp. division located at Gering,
Nebr., 9 miles from Minatare. In Dec. 1980
Dwain began working for National Cash
Register Co. in the Scottsbluff, Nebr. Shop.
During this time Nadine worked for Credit
Bureau of Scottsbluff.

Nadine and Dwain lost 2 infant sons, one
in June 1978 and one in July 1983.

In the fall of 1983 the National Cash
Register Co. sent Dwain to the Omaha
District where they were in need for a man
to service that area. They moved to a farm
home near Oakland, Iowa, 30 miles from
Omaha.

At this writing, Oct. 1986, the Wall family
is well established in their Iowa community.
Dwain is still with National Cash Register
Co., Nadine works for Mutual of Omaha and
also attends college night classes in Omaha.
Both Dwain and Nadine sing in the church
choir, are involved in other church activities,
also in Boy Scouts. The boys ride the school
bus each day and are busy in after school
athletics and other school activities as well as
church, choir and Boy Scouts.

The boys, Craig 16 yrs., Chad 14 yrs., and
Clint 12 yrs. have become a very secure part
of the Wall Family. The boys are never
thought of as "being adopted". Dwain Na-
dine have said, "They are our sons and very
important to the making of a complete family
group." The grandparents always refer to the
boys as "Our grandsons".
