The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5541
of Mullen, Nebr. was formed in July of 1977.
Paul Schmoker was elected Commander;
Kenny Bader, Sr. Vice Commander; Ray
Swendener, Quartermaster; and Father Mike
Kaprowski, Chaplain. Wayne Anderson,
Nebr. Dept. Commander for V.F.W., in-
stalled the newly elected officers.
The new post elected to hold their meet-
ings on the second Monday of each month
starting in September.
The Charter Members for Post #5541 are
as follows:

McCune, Marvin D. Moore, Ray H. Sexton
Jr., Robert L. Bragg, Bert M. Dent, George
L. Hauck, Paul R. Little, Marvin A. Cox,

K. Martin, Gordon Hansen, Wayne Prentice,
John J. Smith, Wilbert E. Ericksen, Ray T.

Thomas L. Prentice, Lloyd Ginkens Jr.
Transferring to the new post as charter
members were: Lewis Evans, Paul L.
Schmoker and Father Mike Kaprowski.
The present officers are James Fackler,
Commander, and Thomas L. Prentice, Quar-
termaster.
