BOYER, EARL AND JEAN (MORRISON)

Clarence Earl, is the oldest son of John Conley Boyer and Mary Enice (James) born August 11, 1903, in South Cherry Co. Earl attended grade school at Virginia school house and also the Mullen High School. He had worked at the various ranches and also worked in Lowe Store in Mullen for several years. He married Lillie Jean Morrison, daughter of Peter and Dorsa (Knipe) Morri-son, June 2, 1938 in South Dakota. She was born Oct. 14, 1919, in So. Cherry Co. To this union eight children were born, Leonard, Connie Pete, Viola, Mildred, Gladys, Willard, Bonnie and Gary. All eight of their children graduated from Mullen High School. Earl passed away Febr. 6, 1981 .

Jean worked at the Mullen Cafe as a cook for twenty years.

Leonard married Joy Thurston in 1961. To this union two children were born Jean and Earl. They lived at Bingham, Nebr. as ranchers.

Connie married Myrna Elliott 1963. To this union two girls were born Shannan and Holly. They live in Mullen, Nebr. Connie works on State of Nebraska Road Depart. also a mechanic at Schmokers Chevrolet Garage.

Viola married James Kommers in 1962. To this union three children were born, Teri, Pamela and Jim Jr. They reside in Grants, New Mexico. Jim works as a broker and investor and owns his own Beef Jerky Plant.

Mildred married Mick Harding 1964. To this union two children were born Lloyd and Margo. They live south of Mullen as ranch-ers.

Gladys married Russell Simonson 1960. To this union two children were born Peggy and Larry. Russell passed away Aug. 16, 1979. Later Gladys married Robert Smith 1986. They reside at Tampa, Florida.

Willard married Betty Evans in 1965. To this union two children were born Dean and Starla. They reside at Seneca, Nebr. as Ranchers.

Bonnie married Ed Hilderhoff 1971. To this union two children were born Tammy and Ted. They live in Mullen, Nebr. Ed drives school bus and part time employee.

Gary married Joni Montgomery 1985. They reside in Mullen, Nebr. Gary is in maintenance at the Village of Mullen.
