COTANT, GARRY A. AND SHARYL

The Willis Ranch, Cherry County, Nebras-ka was my place of birth 1939. I am Garry A. Cotant, son of Elva and the late W. Harvey Cotant of Mullen. I now reside near Livingston, Park County, Montana with my wife, Sharyl Hatcher Cotant. We were married May 10, 1975 in Bozeman, Montana.

Ranch work was my way of life through the growing years in Hooker County as well as several years in Montana after leaving the Sandhills in 1958. I did a tour of duty for the U.S. Army from January 20, 1963 until January 20, 1965 – 13 months of which were in Korea.

I am currently employed in the Construc-tion Engineering area, State of Montana Highway Department. This career I began July 6, 1970.

Rodeo, team roping and horses have been and are a major interest in my life. The competition has been good to me over the years and I am hoping that goodness will continue for many years yet to come.
